Winter!
Well, winter is truly here, with hail and thunderstorms for the last week. Living on the boat isnt bad, actually, just VERY noisy when it hails. Last night was probably the hardest rain yet, I was cozy and warm in bed but Sheva didnt like it much, and as her bed is under the sprayhood, a little leak dripped down on her, poor thing. At 3 o’clock in the morning I had to dry her with a towel.
One thing..This is the warmest house in winter I’ve ever lived in, and it often even gets too warm, even though the rear cabin isnt heated. I guess it was worth ripping it apart last year to put more insulation in!
